The Aquarian Zodiac
This calendar follows the 33 year cycle proposed by Omar Khayam, the medieval Persian poet/astrologer, John Dee, the genius and court astrologer of Queen Elizabeth I, and, more recently, by the calendar scholar Simon Cassidy.
The Serpent Moons
As a spiritual icon and principle, the Serpent has enjoyed a long relationship with the Moon. Both are symbols of cyclical regeneration, healing, life, sexuality and knowledge.
The Serpent in the Sky has no beginning and no end. She bites her own tail to symbolize the circular continuity of light, time and reality. Today this idea remains with us in our symbol of infinity:
Star of Gaia
"Seven is she who is Lady of the vastness, who holds mastery of Space and the Key of the Times...Time and space are moving in circles, know ye their law and ye too shall be free…
"
-The Emerald Tablets of Thoth
Circle of Eternity
"May I gaze on the knot of eternity
wherein the threads of our fate are tiedó
man to woman, fire to water, earth to sky"
Egyptian Book of the Dead In the center of the Mandala of Mother Time resides the Circle of Eternity. The elegant weaving of curves that compose this circle provides the foundation matrix of a sacred geometry through which the unity of the time-space continuum we live within may be mapped and better understood.
